Hey Texas Hold’em players, hope you all are well!

Sorry for the long delay about any updates to the Texas Hold’em prefab. I haven’t forgotten about it– I’ve just been extremely busy with college. Now that I’ve graduated though, I have a lot more free time than I’ve had the last 4 years, so besides finding a job and getting some much-needed rest, getting back to updating the table is one of the things at the top of the agenda!

First, as people have told both me and Sayu, VRChat seems to have tweaked the SDK without warning, so now every table in every world is broken. Thanks VRChat devs! That’s the first thing I’m gonna fix as soon as possible. No timeline on that yet, but I will let you know the second the release for that is pushed.

Second, I’d like to add some more features to the table. No promises that this all happens, but I would like to add:

• Spectator mode: Allow outside players to view all the cards on the table (with a warning), for casual spectating and streaming games to Twitch/YT/etc.
• More built-in card designs: I have a couple friends who were dying to add their own card faces to the table. I’ll ask them again and add them if/when they finish them.
• Table skin customization: Add table skins and allow developers to add custom ones.
• Seasonal updates: If Sayu is up for it, add seasonal themes to the table and automatically switch to them during the appropriate months.

Again, I can’t promise that all these features get into the game, especially since finding stable income is a higher priority. But given you all have waited patiently for updates, I’ll try my best to deliver some new stuff!

Third, the Texas Hold’em worlds have had over 30,000 visitors and the table has had over 60 copies sold. Thank you all so much for the support! It means a lot. It also gives us an incentive to make more VRChat games and/or indie game projects.
